The 2016 boating season is offcially over at Nissequogue River State Park. Boaters were asked to remove their boats by October 17th and they did. A trip to the marina on Sunday, October 16th showed a mostly empty marina with a fairly steady stream of owners removing their boats. By Monday the boating season was history.
