The following beaches have also been closed in recent weeks: Benjamin Beach in Bay Shore, Tanner Park Beach in Copiague and Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in the Town of Islip. These beaches will remain closed to bathing until water samples indicate that they are safe for bathing.
