Three Men Stabbed In Smithtown In Front of Eagle's Pub

Suffolk County Police today arrested a Smithtown man for stabbing three men outside of a Smithtown pub early this morning.
 

Fourth Precinct officers were called to Eagle’s Pub, located at 532 Smithtown Bypass, after three men were stabbed outside of the bar following a confrontation at 3:13 a.m. Officers located and arrested Kurt Meyer Jr. several blocks from the bar shortly after he fled. 

 

The victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated and released.

 

Fourth Squad detectives charged Meyer, 30, of 196 Maple Ave., Smithtown, with three counts of Assault 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 22.

 

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
