Nesconset Woman Arrested W/Twin Daughters In Car - DWI

Danielle FerranteSuffolk County Police today arrested a Nesconset woman for driving while intoxicated with her twin daughters in the car.

A Fourth Precinct police officer observed Danielle Ferrante sitting in a parked, running 2006 Mitsubishi in the parking lot of Shop Rite, located at 335 Route 347, at 1:40 a.m. and after interviewing Ferrante determined she was intoxicated. Ferrante had her 5-year-old daughters in the car with her.

Fourth Squad detectives charged Ferrante, 31, with Driving While Intoxicated and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.

The children were released to the custody of their father.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
