THIES Jr., Henry “Hank”, age 88 of Smithtown, NY on September 24, 2013. WWII Navy Veteran and a proud member of the U.S. Navy Squadron VS50. He currently was a active member of the L.I. Early Flyers Club & Smithtown Elks Club. He was the beloved husband of Mary “Maureen” of 59 years. Loving brother of Robert Thies. Adored Uncle of Scott Thies, Mark Thies, Edward Gavin, James Gavin, Jean Bagdonas and Marianne Thomas. Dear brother in law of Theresa Gavin. Henry is also survived by 13 Grand Nieces & Nephews.
Religious Service was celebrated at Funeral Home. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
