D’AGOSTINO - Erasmus “Ed” 96, beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on November 1, 2014. He was a noncommissioned officer in the U.S Army and served as a tank driver and expert gunner stateside during World War II. They Shall Not Be Forgotten. Eed was also a lifelong and devoted New York Yankees fan. He was the beloved husband of the late Cecelia. Devoted father of Salvatore D’Agostino (Melissa) and Robert D’Agostino (Teri). Cherished Grandfather of Liana Rose D’Agostino and Nikole Lee D’Agostino. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore D’Agostino and Gaetana Di Maio D’Agostino. two brothers Joseph and Emanuel (“Mooch”), and two sisters Jean and Marie. He is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Service was held at the Branch Funeral Home. Interment followed at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
