MURN - Phyllis 79, of Smithtown, NY, entered eternal life on March 11, 2014, surrounded by her family and friends. Phyllis was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, friend and devout Catholic who practiced her beliefs and values throughout her life. Phyllis gave selflessly to others and didn’t differentiate between family, friend and stranger as she treated everyone equally and with compassion. Her door was always open to those in need. There are no words to describe the impact she had on so many lives that she touched. She was always able to see the good in people and brought out the best in everyone. Although Phyllis’ life was not an easy path, she always put others needs in front of her own. Phyllis is survived by Tom, the love of her life and husband of 58 years. Beloved mother of Donna (Richie) Magnussen, John (Lori), Kevin, Terry (Jimmy) Sirignano, George, Tommy (Leslie), & Joanne (Tom) LaCascia. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Matt) Pena, Thomas, Christina, Jessica, Matthew, Michael, Johnny (Nicole), Marielle, Zachary, Isaiah, Kristin, Natalie, Tommy, Austin, Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, Victoria and her two great-grandchildren; Brooke and Briana.
