Mele, Theresa of Huntington Station, NY passed away peacefully on September 28, 2016 at the age of 97. She was the beloved wife of the late Stefano. Cherished mother of Phyllis (John) Pezenik Merlo, Judith (Jon) Poole and Stephen (Doris) Mele. Loving Grandmother of four and Great Grandmother of eight. Dear sister of Fannie, Florence and Sophie. She is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s R. C. Church, Smithtown, NY. Interment followed at Holy Rood Cemetery.
