Death Notice - Mary Amato

 

Amato, Mary age 105 of Port Jefferson Station, NY passed away peacefully on August 27, 2018.She was the beloved mother of Maryann (Anthony) Masella and Paul (Meryl) Amato. Cherished grandmother of the late Joseph, Charles, Natalie, Denise, Lenore, Paul, Danielle, Christopher, Joseph, and the late Gregory. Loving great grandmother of  Amanda, Ashley, Gabrielle, Angelo, Marissa, Alyssa, Hailey, Courtney, Nicholas, Jake, Avery, Gianna, Stephen and Owen. She is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St Margaret of Scotland R,C. Death Notice - Margaret O'Keefe

O’Keefe, Margaret - WWII Navy Veteran passed this Monday on Labor Day. She was a Great friend to all. Loving Mother, Grandma and Great grandmother mother that will be forever in our hearts as well as truly missed. Survived by son Timothy O’Keefe & daughter Margaret O’Keefe, daughter in law Donna O’Keefe, grandchildren Corey, Richard, Daniel, Gabriel, Claire & Hannah, great grandchildren Thomas, Flynn, Rileigh and Olivia. Rest In Peace. Visitation services were held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 9-10:45 AM at St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Rd, St. James, NY 11780. Funeral mass was held 11:15 a.m. at Sts. Philip & James R.C. Church. Interment followed Mass with Military Honors at St. James Episcopal Cemetery. 

Mrs. O’Keefe’s funeral arrangements were professionally supervised while the O’Keefe Family was lovingly cared for during their bereavement by Kenneth, Kerry, Brian, Danielle, Marty and the rest of the Maher Family & Staff of the St. James Funeral Home.

Gleeson - Margaret Ann Gleeson (nee McGrath) aka Irish Ann, 61, of The Villages, Florida and Lower Kilmacud Road, Dublin, passed away on  Saturday, August 11, 2018, after a long illness bravely fought. A past pupil of Mount Anville, graduate of UCD and former teacher at St. Josephís Castlebar. She was the co-owner of the Pleasant Inn with her husband.

Beloved wife of John, for 25 years of marriage. Loving second mother to Donna & Bob Milani, John & Salina and Sharon & Peter Ruotolo. Adored grandmother of Paul, Timothy, Peter, Nicholas, Rebecca, Conor, Cole, Lilah, Lillian, Juliana and Jayden. Cherished great grandmother of Eloise. Loving daughter of Patricia and the late Charlie. Devoted sister of Patrick, John Helen and Deirdre. Memorial visiting will be held at the St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Rd. St. James on Saturday September 15, from 11 AM - 2 PM. A memorial service will take place at 1 PM. Obituary - William J Baker

Baker, William J.- Long time resident of St. James, passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 88. Loving Husband of Nancy for 66 Years. Beloved father of Jennifer and Mark (Celeste). Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Allison, Kelly, and Brett. William had a passion for NASA, he retired from Delco Electronics where he shared his love for aerospace. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan and in his spare time enjoyed wood-working. Funeral Visitation Thursday August 30, 2018 from 9-10:30 AM. Funeral Service 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment followed service at Calverton National Cemetery with Military Honors.
