Former Branch Brook Elementary School students return for final ‘senior walk’

Former students of Branch Brook Elementary School took their senior walk through the New Beginnings pre-school —the former Branch Brook Elementary School.;)
Seven years ago, the Branch Brook Elementary School in Smithtown closed due to declining enrollment. Students attending Branch Brook were dispersed to various schools throughout the district. Fast forward, as the Class of 2024 participate in their “senior walks” through their elementary schools, former Branch Brook students asked, “What about us?”
On June 25, those students got their answers when they were able to take their senior walk through the New Beginnings pre-school —the former Branch Brook Elementary School.
