Dempsey - Gerard W. - of Rockville Centre and Jefferson’s Ferry on March 3, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Helen J. Dempsey. Loving father of Gerard Jr. (Carol), Mary Ellen Bechtle (Eugene), Wade (Joan) and Beth Apostoli (Michael). Dear grandfather of 11 and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at the Sts. Philip & James RC Church on March 9, 2018. Interment with Military Honor’s took place at the Calverton National Cemetery. Mr. Dempsey’s funeral arrangements were professionally supervised while the Dempsey Family was lovingly cared for during their bereavement by the Maher Family & Staff of the St. James Funeral Home.
