Obituary - Domenico Ambrosio, M.D.

AMBROSIO, M.D., Domenico, long time resident of Smithtown, NY, passed away after a short illness on January 12, 2013. Dr. Ambrosio was a practicing anesthesiologist in the Smithtown area since 1966. He was a member of the Nissequogue Golf Club and enjoyed golf, tennis, painting, yoga and being with his family. Beloved Husband of Marie. Loving Father of Maria Grace (Stephen) Karman, Christina (Steven) DiFiore, and the late Anthony (Sofia) Ambrosio. Devoted grandfather of Camryn, Christopher, Francesca, Alexander, Stephanie, and Catherine.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Smithtown. Interment followed at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
