Janssen, Lawrence R., Age 55, of Elmont, NY passed away on January 18, 2013. Beloved son of the late Henry and Catherine. Loving brother of Pat (Larry) Beufve, Vickie (Ken) Porcelli, and the late Ricky. Devoted uncle of ten. Cherished great-uncle of nine.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at Sts. Philip & James RCC in St. James. Interment followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.

Everyone at Cozymels misses you! You were always a joy to have around at work. I miss our daily talks about the Giants, Yankees, Knicks, and all of the ridiculous articles we laughed at from The Onion. Who is going to call me Aquaman now? I only found out on Wednesday that you were gone, and that our greatest fear was confirmed- it just doesn't seem real. For the last two days we set up your chair just the way you would keep it whenever you ran out for a call, in the hope that the news was wrong... that we'd see you come through that door one more time. I only wish I could've said goodbye. You always had a good heart, Larry. Rest in peace my friend. We'll always remember you.
