CAPPELLO- Richard P., Age 85, of Nesconset, NY, passed on March 3, 2013. They Shall Not Be Forgotten. Proud WWII Veteran. United States Navy. He was the Devoted Husband of Dolores. Loving father of Denise Basso, Dr. Richard (Karen) Cappello, and Robert Cappello. Beloved grandfather of Marisa, Robert, Sara, Matthew, Rachel, Michael, and Dominic. Cherished great-grandfather of Sophia and Kyle. Dear brother of Evelyn and Cecilia.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Smithtown. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
