Obituary - Donald H. Kondenar

KONDENAR - Donald H., life long resident of Smithtown, NY on April 11, 2014 at the age of 70. Donald was an ex Chief of Dept., Trustee and 50-year member of the Smithtown Fire Dept. Retired from Local # 25 I.B.E.W. They Shall Not Be Forgotten. Proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Beloved spouse of Claire McVeigh. Devoted son of Dorothy and the late Matthew Kondenar. Loving father of Richard (Karen) Kondenar, Gregory (Leane) Kondenar. Cherished grandfather of 13. Dear brother of Matthew (Jayne) & Robert (Patricia) Kondenar.  He is survived by many other family members and friends. 

Firematic services were held at the funeral home. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Smithtown. Interment followed St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In Memory of Donald H.
