Obituary - Anthony Falasco

FALASCO - Anthony, age 98, married for almost 70 years to his loving wife Marie, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2015. Anthony was born in Montorio nei Frentani, Italy and immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island at the young age of 16. He was a self made business owner as a tailor in Manhattan prior to his retirement in the early 90s, a proud World War II veteran who served on the front lines in the Philippines, the patriarch to 3 beautiful families who cherished and adored him, and above all, a good man. He is survived by his wife Marie, his son Anthony Falasco, daughter in law Kathy Falasco, daughter Diane Blohm, son-in-law James Blohm, and daughter Lisa Ohlsson; nephews he co-parented, Michael and Robert Famiglietii; 6 grandchildren, Keith Falasco, Michael Falasco, Andrea Seeney, Brian Blohm, Michael Ohlsson and James Ohlsson; and 11 precious great grandchildren, James Ohlsson, Colin Falasco, Ava Seeney, Mikey Falasco, Josh Ohlsson, Lucas Ohlsson, Logan Seeney, Bella Blohm, Emmie Falasco, Dylan Falasco, and Anthony Blohm. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland R.C.
