Margaret D. Woodford, 82: Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Longtime Resident of Hauppauge, NY, passed away on May 11, 2016. Margaret was born in 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Beloved wife of late husband Richard A. Woodford who passed away on February 24, 2003. Loving mother of five Children: Richard (Judy) Woodford, Barbara (John) Stephenson, Donald Woodford, Peggy (Thomas) Geiger, and Susan Woodford (Jeffrey Perez). Cherished Grandmother of Kathryn (Kevin) Terkelson, John Stephenson, Timothy Woodford, Nicholas Geiger and Jack Geiger. Dear friend of longtime companion Edward Bohan.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 15th 2016 at 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Maloney’s Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge, NY 11788.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday May 16th at 9:45 AM at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, 280 E. Main Street, Smithtown NY, 11787 followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
