Mattern, Charles M., of Smithtown, NY on passed away peacefully on December 19, 2016 at the age of 81.They Shall Not Be Forgotten. Proud Veteran United States Navy. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara. Cherished father of Chuck (Karla), Jackie (John) Morreale and Mike (Ann). Loving Grandfather of Kristin, Stephanie, Lauren, Michelle, Kevin and Emily. He is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph R.C.
