Proud Veteran United States Army Korean War. He was the beloved husband of the late June. Cherished father of Sally (Jerry) Dessart, Anthony Fontana, and Patrick (Jayne) Fontana. Loving Grandfather of  Jake, Julia, Sofia, and Gavin. Dear brother of Anthony (Rosemarie) Fontana.He is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Hauppauge, NY.
