Barba, Richard Age 88 of Smithtown, NY passed on March 4, 2019. They Shall Not Be Forgotten. Proud Veteran United States Air Force Korean War. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie and Carolyn. Cherished father of Frank (Rosemary), and Ellen (Gary) DeVeau. Loving Grandfather of  Nicole, Deanna, Phillip, Monica, and great grandfather of Liam, Evelyn, Mikey, and Bella. He is survived by many other family members and friends. Obituary - Michael Williams Bullis

 

Bullis, Michael W. “Mike”, 59, of Cedar Falls and formerly of New York, died on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at home of Multiple Myeloma, MDS, and AML. Mike was born on August 18, 1959 in Queens Village, NY; the son of Orville Williams and Maureen (Burke) Bullis. He graduated from Smithtown High School in Smithtown, New York. Mike worked for Steel Workers Union in New York; He moved to Cedar Falls in 2002 and worked for Eller Insulation for several years. Mike married Tempest Thomas on October 22, 2008 in Evansdale. He is survived by his wife, Tempest; his parents, Orville and Maureen Bullis of Smithtown, NY; a daughter, Ashley (Chaz Weber) Bullis of Waterloo‚ three sons, Andrew Thomas‚ Casey Murray and Jesse Murray all of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Oliver Murray and Henry Murray; three brothers, William “Bill” (Janine) Bullis of Mt. Sinai, NY, John (Nancy) Bullis of Greenfield Center, NY, and Kevin (Lesley) Bullis of Port Jefferson, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 650 Stephen Ave., Waterloo. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 15, at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel. Burial in Hudson Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to an organization of the donor’s choice. Obituary - Peter Vardouniotis

Vardouniotis, Peter passed away on Thursday, January 31st, 2019.  His death was unexpected. We are grateful that when he died, he was safe and died peacefully in his sleep. Peter was born on June 7, 1983 on Long Island, NY where he grew up and lived on and off throughout his adult life. 

He was a graduate of Commack High School and the College at Albany. Peter was a skilled electrician and worked in the family business during his younger years. He was full of life, had a heart of gold, and loved all of his family and friends with everything he had.  

Peter would talk to anyone, and when you were in his company you wanted to stay.  He was adored as a son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Peter is survived by his parents, Margaret and Peter Vardouniotis; his sister Alexia Nyholm and husband Will Nyholm; his brother Angelo Vardouniotis; his brother Ianni Vardouniotis and wife Renee Vardouniotis;  his nephew Peter Vardouniotis; and nieces Mila Vardouniotis and Livia Nyholm; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins, including the Geralemou Family, who took such good care of Peter and whom he lived with for an extended time.

Obituary - June Ferri

Ferri, June of Smithtown, NY on March 4, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Fred Ferri for 63 years.  They were high school sweethearts.Loving mother of  Fred J. Ferri, Linda Ferri Stein and the late Douglas Ferri. Dear mother-in-law of Terry Stein. Cherished nana of Teddy Joy.  June’s  warm, caring and loving personality will be greatly missed by many loving family members and friends both in Long Island and Florida. June was a 33 year veteran of the Smithtown School District. June founded a new association for all non-teaching employees and became founding president of the Smithtown Schools Employees Association. She helped to achieve pay equity for women in her union.  In 1991 she was an Honoree by Woman On The Job for providing outstanding leadership for working women.  Religious Service was celebrated at the Branch Funeral Home, Smithtown.
