Deacon Robert Heschl- of Smithtown, NY on September 9, 2017 age 89. Beloved husband of Eleonore  for 59 years. Loving father of Thomas and the late Victoria. Cherished grandfather of Stephen, Andrew, Matthew, Deanna, Lauren, Jonathan and Megan. Proud WWII US Army Veteran.. Devoted Deacon for 20 years at Sts. Philip & James RC Church, St. James NY. Funeral Mass at Sts. Philip & James Church and Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. Mr. Heschl’s funeral arrangements were professionally supervised while the Heschl Family was lovingly cared for during their bereavement by Kenneth, Kerry, Brian Elster, Danielle Marino, Marty Herman and the rest of the Maher Family & Staff of the St. James Funeral Home.
