He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary, his daughters and sons-in-law, Erin Hennessy Davidson, Colonel Joseph Davidson, Morgan Hennessy Wyler and Tom Wyler, beloved grandchildren Madison and Thomas Wyler, and his loyal and loving pup, Squirt. Dedicated English Teacher in the Smithtown School District. Visitation will be held Monday, September 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Road, (Rt 25) St. James. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September, 19th at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 280 East Main Street, Smithtown, followed by interment at Smithtown Cemetery.
